Athletes Hangar × ARC by Pivotal

Performance. Recovery. Community.

Created for Athletes Hangar Physiotherapy & Performance at ARC by Pivotal, this mural was built from a long-standing relationship between JD Art and owners TJ and Raj, connecting art, athletics, rehabilitation and community within one space.

As a former professional athlete himself, JD approached the project from a personal understanding of performance, injury and the journey back to doing what you love.

The design combines dynamic athletes, movement, Edmonton landmarks and layered symbolism with Athletes Hangar’s signature Victory Yellow, white and deep grey palette. Raised textural elements add another dimension to the artwork, while hidden details throughout the Edmonton skyline reward a closer look.

More than an interior mural, the project creates a visual identity for the space and represents the shared belief behind Athletes Hangar and ARC by Pivotal: recovery is about reclaiming yourself and moving forward stronger.
