Pop-Ali

This Iconic stance of M.Ali was commissioned by Downtown Edmonton restaurant and bar ‘Often 100’. A Dark, elegant and sleek restaurant and bar deserves something that will POP off of the all black & charcoal wall.

Putting a spin on this pose and stance was a pleasure, as I wish Ali was still alive to witness this piece be hung up. With textured additions, rough and pure brush strokes and a touch of cartoon and realism, this elegant yet popping piece of Artwork stands out on any wall.

48” x 60” This original painting was created with spray paint, brush work with Acrylic and of course the additions of JD Art hearts and characters. Bringing this piece to life was an honour and extremely fun to do. I’m sure you can tell I had a lot of fun with this one.
