‘Ataraxia’ - Mural for Jimmy’s RV

24ft x 18ft on Cement brick.

For this project, the request was for a camp site, showcasing an RV as the local business is a RV Storage lot. Place right at the entrance, is a tall cement wall, formed with these ‘Lego-like’ bricks. This made for an uneven surface but thats ok, because if that, I decided to use all Aerosol. Alberta has the best skies during sunset I’ve seen, the sunset and the majestic silhouette of Alberta's mountains, this mural transports viewers to a world of warmth and tranquility. I made sure to add the necessary camping items here such as two fire pits, a bench, a boulder, nature, greenery, water, mountains and of course an RV. I think the cool thing about this mural is that from some angles the RV is either short, or long. I love that moveable perspective point you’re able to do in Landscape painting.
